AHA’S
This stands for Alpha Hydroxy Acids. This product is added to our R3 crème and is of the order of 2-3%.
ALLANTOIN
This comes from the Comfrey plant and is a natural source.
CETYL ALCOHOL
This is added to FLP’s Exfoliating Cleaners it is derived from coconut oil and is an emulsifying agent used to stabilise the product.
CONDROITIN
Our product Freedom contains Condroitin which is bovine or shark cartilage, port or chicken connective tissue. Therefore this product would be not be suitable for Jewish or Sikhs people. Also unsuitable for Vegetarians.
COLLAGEN
Collagen comes from animal skins and the elastin come from connective tissue (animal derived). FLP use the most pure and effective forms of both collagen and elastin.
‘D AND C RED NO. 27’
This is the used in the Facial Contour Powder. It is an American certified colour, and is added for the cosmetic appearance.
ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS
Our body cannot make these fatty acids which means we have to obtain them from our food and are very important for body function.
There are two essential fatty acids one is Omega 6 and the other Omega 3. These are long chain unsaturated fatty acids. Omega 6 comes from oils such as sunflower, corn, sesame, blackcurrant and evening primrose. Omega 3 predominantly comes from linseed, walnuts and fish. Omega 3 fatty acids are anti-inflammatory and important for hormonal health and brain health and can help with dyslexia, attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity, high cholesterol, memory and concentration, skin health and inflammatory conditions of all types. DHA is the critical fatty acid for the brain.
FORMALDEHYDE
Formaldehyde is not used in any of our products. This product is used in many products as a powerful preservative.
FOREVER BRIGHT TOOTHGEL
In FLP’s toothgel the only flavourings used is Spearmint and Peppermint. Chlorophyll is a substance that makes the plants green and the one FLP use is extracted from natural plant source. Sodium Saccharin is approved for the use in all toothpastes and toothgels.
FOREVER LITE
In our Vanilla variety there is no added colour and we use all natural flavourings from French Vanilla. We use cocoa in our Chocolate variety which gives it it’s natural colour.
GELATINE
The gelatine in FLP’s softgel/capsules comes from beef gelatine and is highly refined which makes it inert to the human body.
GLUCOSAMINE
Our Freedom drink contains this ingredient which makes it unsuitable for Vegetarians. Glucosamine contains crustacean shells which are highly purified to remove any trace of allergents. Therefore Freedom is not suitable for Vegans either.
GLUTEN
Adsorbent-C contains oat gluten and our Gin-Chia contains gluten from golden chia seeds.
GLYCERINE
The Glycerine in our product are derived from vegetable source.
LANOLIN
Lanolin is a rich moisturiser extracted from the wool of sheep. Many people can be allergic to this product Lanolin is one of the best moisturisers available especially for children.
